Maharashtra Restaurant

We are tucked away in Dandia Bazar, right behind Hotel Rajdhani in the Brahmapuri area of Vadodara. It’s an old part of the city with a lot of narrow streets and history. Our restaurant has been sitting here for quite a while now. Most of our customers are people who live nearby or work in the bazaar. We don't do much advertising because people usually just find us by walking past or hearing about us from a neighbor. The 390001 area is always full of life, especially during the festival seasons. We just keep our heads down and cook. It’s a small team here, mostly just family and a few helpers. We don't have fancy menus or expensive decor. Everything is pretty basic, just tables, chairs, and the kitchen in the back. Being behind another hotel means we stay a bit quieter than the main road, which we actually prefer. We spend most of our time prepping ingredients and getting ready for the lunch and dinner rushes. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until night. We like being part of the Vadodara community here in Dandia Bazar. It feels like home to us. If you’re wandering around Brahmapuri and get hungry, you’ll likely stumble upon us. We’ve been here long enough that we feel like part of the furniture of the neighborhood. We don't try to be anything we're not, just a place for a meal.
