Maharashtra Boarding House

This boarding house is located on Pratap Road in the Dandia Bazar area of Vadodara. Specifically, we are in Brahmpuri. We have been around for quite a long time now. It is an old building with a lot of character, and we try to keep it in good shape as best as we can. We provide rooms and meals for people who are staying in the city for work or studies. It is not like a big hotel with room service and elevators. It is more of a home-style setup where everyone knows each other. The kitchen serves simple meals that aren't too oily or spicy. We think that is what people want when they are away from home for a long time. The rooms are basic with a bed, a desk, and a place for your clothes. We keep the corridors swept and the water running. Dandia Bazar is a very lively part of Vadodara, so there is always something happening outside our doors. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy during festival times, but that is part of the experience of living here. My family runs the place, so someone is always around if there is a problem with a tap or a light. We don't do any big advertising. Most of our guests find us through friends or family. It is a simple life running a boarding house, but we take pride in looking after the people who stay under our roof.
