Kismat Kathiwadi Hotel

You can find Kismat Kathiwadi Hotel in the middle of Golden Chokdi and Ajwa Chokdi in Vadodara. We are located in Darjipura, right near the L&T office and opposite the Airforce Recidency. This part of the city is always moving because of the highway and the big companies nearby. Our hotel is a simple Kathiwadi style place. We don't have any of those modern decorations. It’s mostly just a large shed-like structure where the breeze can blow through, which is nice when it’s hot. We see a lot of truck drivers, people working at L&T, and families from the Recidency across the road. The address is between Golden Chokdi and Ajwa Chokdi, Vadodara, 390001. We start the day early to get the spices ready. Kathiwadi food takes some time to prepare properly, so we are always busy in the kitchen. It’s a lot of manual work, grinding things by hand and cooking over big flames. We don't have a corporate office or anything. It's just us at the hotel every day. The highway noise is something we’ve just gotten used to over the years. We don't really promise anything special, just the food we know how to make. If you are driving on the highway near Darjipura, you will see our sign between the two main junctions. It’s a good place to stop and rest for a bit.
