You can find us at Jacobs Engineers Pvt. Ltd over in Baroda, specifically in the Shubhanpura area. Our office is Flat No. 20 in Aastha Avenue, right near New Ipcl Gorwa. It’s a decent area with a lot of growth lately. We moved into this flat because it’s a good size for our small team to spread out our drawings and technical manuals. We aren't some massive corporation with a glass building. We are just engineers working out of a residential-style block because it’s convenient and keeps us close to the projects we manage. Most of our work is about figuring out the mechanics of local infrastructure and helping people with their technical needs. We spend a lot of time on the phone and even more time on-site making sure the contractors are following the blueprints. It’s a lot of back-and-forth, but that is just how engineering goes. The office is usually a bit messy with paper and samples of materials, but we know where everything is. We like being in Gorwa because it feels like things are always happening. We don't have any fancy mission statements. We just try to make sure the buildings and systems we work on are safe and functional. It’s a good way to make a living in a city like Baroda. We’ve been here for a while and we know how to get the job done without any unnecessary delays.
