Deo Gems Lab

You can find Deo Gems Lab at G/4 in the Concorde Complex. We are located on R C Dutt Road over in the Alkapuri area, near Vijay Estate Odhav. It is a pretty specific kind of work we do here. Most of the day is spent looking at stones through lenses and writing down notes about what we see. The lab is small but it has everything we need to get the job done. It isn't a retail shop, so there aren't many shiny things on display for sale. Instead, people bring us their items to check. We spend a lot of time under the desk lamps. Alkapuri is a busy part of town, so there is always something going on outside our window. Sometimes the traffic on R C Dutt Road gets backed up, but inside it stays quiet. We’ve been at this location for a bit now. Folks usually come in with a piece of jewelry or a loose stone they need looked at. We just tell them what we find. It is honest work and it keeps our hands busy. Sometimes it takes a while to get through a pile of stones, but we don't like to rush. It is just the two of us usually, making sure everything is recorded correctly. That is basically what life is like here at the lab day in and day out. We just keep the records straight and the stones safe for the owners.
