Big Brother Event

Our spot is on Waghodia Road 23 and it’s usually quite a mess of balloons, ribbons, and half-empty boxes of supplies. We are just a few guys trying to make sure that when someone has a function, everything is in the right place. Most of our days are spent loading and unloading trucks, which is hard on the back but keeps us busy. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy lobby. If you come to see us, you’ll probably find us in the middle of tangling some fairy lights or trying to figure out why a particular decoration isn't hanging straight. It’s honest work and we don't try to make it sound more important than it is. We’ve been around this part of the city for a long time, so we know where to get the best supplies without spending too much. Sometimes things don't go according to plan, like when the weather turns bad or a delivery is late, and we just have to figure it out on the fly. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just want to finish the job so the client is satisfied and we can get paid and go to the next one. It’s a simple cycle of planning, hauling things around, and cleaning up afterwards. That is pretty much what life is like for us at the shop, just keeping our heads down and working through the list.
