Shreemata Farmer Producer Companylimited is based right at the APMC Yardsabgeri in Yellapur. Most people just know us as the place over at Shivaram Bhat's spot, number 1275. It gets pretty loud and busy here early in the morning when the trucks start rolling in. We spend a lot of our time just looking at what the local growers bring in from around the Uttara Kannada area. It isn't a fancy office or anything like that. Just some desks and a lot of space for the goods. We mostly deal with the day-to-day work of getting things sorted. Sometimes the weather makes things hard, especially when the rain hits the yard, but we just keep at it. People stop by to chat or check prices, and there's always someone drinking tea nearby. We’ve been at this address for a while now. The yard is where everything happens for us. You can find us easily because we’re right in the middle of the action. It's a lot of paperwork sometimes, tracking what comes from which farm, but that's just part of the job. We don't have a big marketing team or a sleek website. It’s just a few of us here trying to get the work done and making sure the stuff from the fields gets to where it needs to go. We stay busy with the local cycles of the crops. It's practical work and we like being right here in Yellapur.
