We are based at No.492 in the Sonagimakki area of Ankola. Our company was started by a group of us who are totagars, which means we manage plantations and orchards around this part of the coast. We deal with the various crops that grow well in our soil and climate. The office in Sonagimakki is a small, quiet place where we gather to handle the business side of things. It is a very local operation, and most of us have been farming these lands for many years, just like our families did before us. We formed this producer company to make the logistics of selling our harvest a bit easier. Ankola is a great place to work, and we like being close to our trees and fields. The office is not special—it is just a room with some files and a table for our meetings. We do not use any big corporate words or have a complicated mission. We just look at the crops we have and try to find the most practical way to get them to the buyers. Our meetings can sometimes be a bit long because everyone has a different idea about when the best time to pick the fruit is. But we always work it out in the end. We stay focused on the day-to-day tasks and don't worry about being a big, flashy company. Sonagimakki is our home, and we like it.
