If you come to Belavanthanakoppa, you can find us at H.No.28. That is the home of Hanchi Bharangi Farmers Producer Company Limited. We are a small group of local people who decided to join forces. Farming alone is tough, so we thought having a company would make us stronger. We do not have a fancy building with a sign. It is just a house where we get together. Usually, there is a lot of talk about the weather and the crops. We help each other out with seeds and getting the produce to the market. It is very grassroots. H.No.28 is a place where any farmer from the area can walk in and ask for advice or share what they know. We believe in keeping things simple. Belavanthanakoppa is a quiet place, and we like it that way. Hanchi Bharangi Farmers Producer Company Limited is owned by us, the people who actually work the land. We do not have corporate bosses telling us what to do. We make our own decisions based on what we see in our own fields every day. It is a bit disorganized sometimes, and we might not have all the answers right away, but we stick together. That is what matters most to us. We just keep working at it, season after season, right here from our base at House Number 28. It is just our way of life and we are proud to keep it going.
