Omhaveri Kisan Producer Company Limited is located at 3362/A/1 on M.G. Road in Jakati, Pramana. Even though it says M.G. Road, it’s not the one people usually think of in the big city. This is our local stretch of road where most of the business happens. We are a producer company, so our focus is always on the farmers around this area. The office itself is quite basic. We have some old wooden desks and a few filing cabinets that have seen better days. It gets pretty dusty because of the trucks passing by outside, but we don't mind much. We spend our days talking to people who bring in their produce and trying to figure out where it needs to go next. It’s a lot of coordination and sometimes it feels like we’re chasing our tails. The people who work here are all locals, so we know everyone’s name and their family history. It makes the work feel more personal. We don’t have any slick brochures or a marketing team. If someone wants to know what we do, they just come in and ask. We usually have a pot of tea going and there is always a spot for someone to sit and talk for a while. It is a slow process sometimes, building something like this, but we are just taking it steady and seeing where it goes. Every day brings a new set of small problems.
