Satyug Restaurant

Our restaurant is at 61 Mahakal Road in Ujjain. It’s a very famous area because the Mahakal Temple is so close. We are also near Gudri Chouraha. Being in Ujjain City means we get a lot of pilgrims and tourists. The 456006 area is always full of energy. We have been here for years, serving meals to whoever walks in. It’s a basic place with tables and fans. We don't do anything too fancy. The kitchen stays busy from morning until late at night. We see people from all over the country. Sometimes it’s very crowded and we have to move fast. Other times, in the afternoon, it’s a bit more relaxed. We handle everything from the cooking to the cleaning ourselves. It’s a local business through and through. Living and working near the temple defines our day. We are used to the bells and the crowds. It’s just our way of life here on Mahakal Road. We don't have a website or anything, just the shop front. If you are visiting the temple, you’ll find us easily enough. We keep the floor mopped and the water jugs filled up. It’s a lot of hours but it feels right to be part of the city like this. Most regulars just come for a quick bite before heading back to the temple. We keep the prices fair for everyone.
