Our place is in Koteshwara, near the Sai Baba area. We are located right near the Syndicate Bank, so there are always people walking around and cars parking nearby. Sri Manthralaya Tours And Travels is a local business through and through. We have been operating out of this small office for quite a few years now. It is a convenient spot for us because everyone knows where the bank is, so we never have to give long directions. The office itself is pretty plain. We have a few pictures on the wall and a small desk where we handle all the bookings. Most of the time, we are out on the road or talking to people who stop by for a chat. Koteshwara is a nice place to work, even when the traffic gets a bit heavy in the evenings. We know the Udupi district very well, from the coastal roads to the inland villages. We don't bother with expensive marketing or anything like that. Word of mouth is how most people hear about us. We just keep our cars clean and our schedules as tight as we can, though sometimes the rain or the roadwork messes things up for us. That is just life here in this part of India. We drink a lot of tea from the stall next door and wait for the next customer to walk in. It is a decent way to earn a living and we enjoy meeting different people.
