Our office for Sri Durgamba Tours And Travels is up on the first floor of the Municipality Building in Manipal. We are at shop number 17. It is a good location because we are right opposite the Syndicate Bank, so it is easy for people to explain where we are to their friends. Being in the Municipality Building means there is always something going on downstairs. We have been in this 576104 area for a long time. The office itself is pretty basic. We have some chairs, a desk, and our paperwork piled up. It feels like a real workspace. We mostly deal with people from the town and students from the nearby colleges. Sometimes we are very busy and other times we just sit and drink tea while waiting for the next person to walk up the stairs. The stairs can be a bit steep if you are not used to them, but once you are on the first floor, we are easy to spot. We don't use any complicated systems or fancy talk. We just listen to what people need and see if we can help them out with their travel plans. It is a modest way to make a living, and we enjoy being part of the local community here in Manipal. We see the same people at the bank across the street every day when we step out for lunch.
