Sonu Tours And Travels is based in Hebri, right in the Ramanatha Complex on the Main Road. We are directly opposite the bus stop, which is the busiest part of our town. You can always hear the conductors shouting and the horns honking from our office window. It is a lively place to be for sure. We have a small office up the stairs where we handle all the travel requests that come in. Hebri is right at the base of the hills, so the weather can be a bit different here than down in Udupi. We get some heavy rain during the monsoon, and sometimes the roads get a bit tricky with all the water. We have been here for a good amount of time, so the local people know who we are. We don't have any big mission statements or anything like that. We just open the shop, answer the phone, and try to get people where they need to go without much trouble. Our desks are covered in old papers and we have a small calendar to mark the dates. Most of the people who come to us are looking to go down to the coast or maybe up towards the ghats. We know the bus timings by heart because we see them every day across the street. It is a simple business in a busy little town. We just do our work and head home when the sun goes down.
