Esje Travels

We are located on the Mangalore Road in Karkala. Our office is right opposite the IOC petrol bunk, which is a landmark everyone in town knows. Esje Travels is a small setup we have been running for a while. Being on the main road to Mangalore means we get a lot of noise from the vehicles passing by, but it also makes us easy to find for anyone needing a ride. Karkala is a beautiful place, especially with the hills in the distance and the old stone structures. We spend our days managing the trips and making sure the drivers are ready to go when someone calls. The office is just a simple room with a couple of chairs for people to sit while they wait for their car. We don't have any fancy technology, just our mobile phones and a ledger to keep track of everything. The petrol bunk across the street is always busy, so there is never a dull moment or a quiet one. Sometimes the heat gets a bit much, but we have a good fan that keeps things moving. We know the routes between Karkala and the surrounding towns very well. We don't try to sound like a big company because we are not. We are just a few local people working together to provide travel options for the folks around here. It is a lot of standing around and waiting, followed by a lot of rushing.
