We are located right on National Highway 66 in Thekkatte. If you are driving through Kundapur Taluk, you will see the Puranik Complex across from the Junior College. That is where we set up our office. Being near the highway makes it easy for us to move our coconuts. We are a group of farmers from the coastal area. Coconuts are everywhere here, so it made sense for us to form a company together. We spend a lot of time talking to growers from the surrounding villages. Our office isn't anything special to look at. It's just a room where we keep our records and meet up to discuss the market prices. Sometimes the traffic on NH 66 is loud, but it is a good location for business. We handle everything from the trees to the transport. It is a very hands-on job and we don't mind getting our hands dirty. Thekkatte is a good town and we feel like part of the neighborhood here. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy website. Most of our work comes from word of mouth and people seeing us at the complex. We just want to make sure the coconut farmers in our part of Kundapur get a fair deal. It’s honest work and we take it one day at a time. If you’re passing by the college, you’ll likely see some of us around.
