Om Sai Traders

We run Om Sai Traders out of Sumukha Poojary House here in Udupi. It’s a local spot, not too far from the main parts of town. Working in Karnataka, especially in a place like Udupi, means things move at their own pace. Our office is basically part of the house, so it feels very personal. We deal with all sorts of trading goods, mostly things people in the area need. There’s always a few boxes sitting in the hallway waiting to be moved. It’s not a polished corporate office. You might hear the sounds of the neighborhood or the kitchen while we’re working. We’ve been here for years, and most people around here just know us as the guys at Sumukha Poojary House. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a fancy website. We just answer the phone and talk to the people who come by. The weather can get pretty hot, so we usually have the fans going full blast. It’s honest work. Sometimes the inventory gets a bit mixed up, but we sort it out eventually. We take our time to make sure things are right. Trading is about knowing people and having what they want when they need it. We’re just a small family-run type of thing, nothing too complicated. If you’re in Udupi and looking for us, just ask for the Poojary house near the main road. We’re usually around, working through the daily tasks and keeping the business going. It's a decent way to earn a living.
