Swapnapurna Farmer Producer Company Limited is located at House Number 26 in Karkala. It’s a small place, nothing too impressive to look at. We are just local people who have lived here all our lives. Farming is what we know, so we figured we should make it official and work as a group. Most of our days are spent out in the sun, doing the heavy lifting and making sure the crops are okay. We don't have a big team of experts. We just have our hands and whatever knowledge we picked up from our parents. It’s a slow life in Karkala, but there is always work to be done. We don't have any big corporate goals. We just want to be able to sell our stuff without getting cheated. Sometimes we sit around at the house and just talk about the soil or how the market is doing. It’s a very simple operation. We don't have any glossy brochures or fancy websites. We just do the work and hope for the best. Being part of this company is just a way for us to stay connected and help each other when things get tough. It’s honest and it’s hard, but it’s the only way we know how to live. It works for us and keeps us busy throughout the year.
