We are based at No.04 in Maranahalli Village, which falls under the Shivalli Post in Dudda Hobli. Our name, Jayachamarajendra Wadiyar Farmers Producer Company Limited, is a bit of a mouthful, but we’re just a local group of farmers. The office is a simple spot where we handle all the collective business. It’s usually quiet except for the sound of birds or the occasional tractor passing by. We don’t have any high-tech systems or expensive furniture. We just have some tables, chairs, and our notebooks. Most of our day is spent talking about rain, soil, and market prices. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words or complicated plans. We just want to work together so we can all get a better price for what we grow. It’s a slow process sometimes, and the bureaucracy can be frustrating. We spend a lot of time filling out forms and waiting for things to happen. But that’s just how it is in our line of work. We aren't experts in marketing or public relations. We’re just people who know the land and want to help each other out. If you come by the village, you’ll see us there, probably arguing about something or other or just sharing a cup of tea. It’s a basic life, and we don’t pretend it’s anything else. We just keep going and do what needs to be done.
