Silver Art & Crafts

Silver Art & Crafts is located at 32 Lalghat in Udaipur. We are tucked away right behind the Jagdish Temple. Being this close to the temple means we hear the bells and the chanting all through the day. It is a very old part of the city with narrow streets that are usually full of people walking around. The shop itself is in an old building with thick walls that keep it relatively cool even when the sun is beating down outside. We have shelves lined with various silver items that we have collected over time. It is a small space, so things can get a bit crowded when we have a few people inside at once. We spend a lot of time cleaning and organizing the displays. The floor is made of old stone, and the entrance is just a simple doorway off the street. We do not really do any big marketing or anything. People mostly find us because they are visiting the temple or wandering through Lalghat. We enjoy the pace of life here, even if the tourists can get a bit much during the peak season. It is a simple life of looking after the shop and talking to the neighbors.
