Omkareshwar Fabricator

Omkareshwar Fabricator is based out in Balicha, which is a bit of a drive from the main parts of the city. We are located near the village post office, so that’s usually how we tell people to find us if they get lost in the Girwa area. It’s a workshop where we do all sorts of metal fabrication. You’ll hear the sound of welding and cutting from down the road most mornings. We make things like iron gates, window grills, and even larger frames for sheds and warehouses. It’s the kind of work that leaves you with tired arms and dirty clothes at the end of every day, but it feels good to build things that last. We don't have a showroom or a fancy office with air conditioning. We just have our tools and our workspace. The heat in Rajasthan can be pretty intense, so we usually start our shift very early before the sun gets too high. Sometimes we run out of oxygen for the torches or need a specific type of steel rod that takes a few days to arrive from the distributor. We just handle it as it comes. It’s a small operation with just a few of us who know how to handle the machines. Most of our customers come from the nearby villages and small businesses in the district. They know us for doing honest work and not making things more complicated than they need to be.
