Hotel Ratandeep

Down on Lake Palace Road, you’ll find us at Hotel Ratandeep. This part of the city is always moving, filled with folks walking around and seeing the sights. We’ve been here in the 313001 area for a good while, watching the buildings around us get older while new shops pop up. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze on these streets, but that’s the charm of the old town area. We don't have a massive lobby or those shiny elevators you see in the big chains. Instead, we have stairs that have seen a lot of feet over the years. We spend our days answering the phone and making sure the linen is washed. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so you might see one of us sitting at the desk drinking tea or arguing about the grocery bill. The rooms are what you’d expect from a place that’s been around—solid walls and old windows that look out onto the street. You can hear the city sounds clearly from here, the scooters and the shouting of the vendors. It’s not for someone who wants total silence, but it’s real. We don't pretend to be a five-star place. We are just a local hotel trying to keep the doors open and provide a bed for the night. Most people who stay here like being close to the water and the center of everything. It's just a simple life for us on this busy road.
