Hotel Rajwada Palace & Restaurant

We are situated out on the Palanpur Highway at the RIICO Growth Centre. Since we have both the hotel and the restaurant, it keeps us busy from dawn until late at night. The highway is always full of trucks and cars passing through towards 307026. Because of the location, we get a lot of dust from the road, so we are constantly wiping down the tables and the windows. The restaurant part is usually louder than the hotel side, with people stopping for a quick meal before hitting the road again. The building has some traditional looking touches, but it’s mostly just practical for travelers. We don't have a concierge or anyone to carry your bags in a fancy way. You just park your vehicle and walk in. The rooms are decent but simple. We focus more on making sure the fans work and the sheets are clean. It’s a tough spot being on the highway because the sun beats down on the building all day. We have a few trees planted around, but they take a while to grow. My family helps with the cooking and the bills. We don’t have a big marketing plan or anything like that. We just rely on the people who see our sign from the road and decide to stop. It’s a long day every day, but we are used to the rhythm of the highway traffic by now. It is what it is.
