Hotel Lake Shore & Rooftop Restaurant

Hotel Lake Shore & Rooftop Restaurant is located in Chandpole. It is an old building that we converted into a place for people to stay. The best part of the whole place is definitely the roof where the restaurant is. You can see the lake from up there and it is a good spot to sit when the sun is going down. The rooms are small because it is an old house in the narrow streets of Chandpole. We have to carry the bags up ourselves since there is no lift. It’s hard work on a hot day. I usually work in the restaurant part, serving food and making sure the tables are wiped down. The kitchen is small and we make local dishes that people seem to like. It’s a family-run kind of place, so you might see my cousins or my father around helping out with different things. The street outside is very tight and noisy with bikes and pedestrians all day long. Sometimes it’s a bit of a squeeze to get inside. We don't have any fancy decorations or uniforms. We just wear our regular clothes and talk to the guests like they are neighbors. People come here because they want to be near the water without paying for the very expensive hotels. It’s just a simple roof and some rooms where we try to keep everyone comfortable enough for their trip.
