Hotel Lake Ghat Palace

We are tucked away on Lal Ghat Marg, right in the heart of the old city area of Udaipur. Our location is very close to Lal Ghat and Jagdish Chowk, which are some of the most famous spots around here. The streets are narrow and winding, so it feels like you are really in the middle of history. We’ve been running this palace hotel for years. It’s an old building, so it has its quirks, like uneven floors or thick walls. We don't mind that, and usually, the people who stay here don't either. It’s just part of the charm of Lal Ghat. It can get quite busy with all the tourists and the shops nearby, but once you step inside, it’s a bit calmer. We spend a lot of time on the roof or at the front door chatting with people. We aren't a big corporation; we are just local folks trying to keep the place nice for visitors. 313001 is a special area to live in. Every day we see the same neighbors and the same street dogs. It feels like a small village inside a big city. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. We just provide a room and a bit of help with directions if someone needs it. It’s a simple business in a very old, beautiful part of town. We just take each day as it comes.
