Hotel Dev Darshan

Our place is out on Udaipur Road, right on the NH 8 highway. We are in Ratanpur, a bit away from the main Udaipur city. Since we’re on the highway, we mostly get truck drivers and families driving through Rajasthan. It’s a dusty spot, and the sun hits the building hard all day. We’ve got a view of the hills, which is nice when the weather isn't too hot. The hotel is near Village Parai, so it’s a mix of highway traffic and local village life. We don’t have any elevators or fancy room service. You just park your car and come in. I’ve been working here for years, and I’ve seen thousands of cars go by. We keep the rooms simple and try to make sure there is always cold water available. It’s a long stretch of road, so people are usually tired when they get here. We don't bother with fancy brochures or anything. We just have a big sign out by the road. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to wait for the lines to get fixed, but that’s normal for this area. We’re just a regular stop on the way to wherever people are going. It’s not a vacation destination, just a place to rest for a bit. We keep things moving and try to stay friendly with everyone who stops by. It is a lot of work but we stay busy every day.
