Hotel Damanis

Hotel Damanis is situated in the Madhuban area of Udaipur, right near the Telegraph Office. We have been in this spot for quite a long time now. The neighborhood is a mix of offices and some residential houses, so it is not as chaotic as the area right by the lake, which is something we prefer. Our hotel is a simple three-story building. We have rooms that are basic but functional for anyone visiting the city for a few days. We do not have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just a family-run business where we all pitch in to do the work. My brother usually handles the front desk and I take care of the supplies and the staff. We spend a lot of time making sure the bathrooms are clean and that the guests are comfortable. We don't have a massive breakfast buffet, but we can make some eggs or toast if you are hungry in the morning. People usually stay with us when they are in Udaipur for work or if they want a cheaper place that is still close to the main parts of town. We are honest about what we offer. It is just a plain room with the essentials. We know the city well, so if you need a recommendation for a good local tailor or a shop, we can point you in the right direction.
