Harigarh Restaurant

Our restaurant is located at Hanuman Ghat in Udaipur, which is a pretty nice spot just outside the Chandpol area. We have been here at address 313004 for a while now, and we have grown quite fond of the view over the water. It is a place where locals and visitors both end up when they are walking around the ghats. We do not go in for anything too polished or corporate in how we run things. Most of the time, we are just busy in the back making sure the food is ready and the tables are set. Running a kitchen near the water has its own set of challenges, and sometimes things get a bit hectic when a big group shows up out of nowhere. Our staff are mostly from the local area, so the atmosphere is pretty relaxed and informal. We do not have any big mission statements or scripted ways of talking to people. We just try to serve decent food in a spot that feels comfortable. Sometimes the power flickers or we run out of a certain ingredient, but we just handle it and keep going. It is a simple life here by the ghats, and we are happy to be a part of the local community. If you are wandering around outside Chandpol, you will likely stumble upon us.
