Hari Priya Garden Restaurant

You can find us right on the NH-8 highway as you’re driving between Jaipur and Ahmedabad. We are situated in the Balchi area of Udaipur, specifically near the HP petrol pump. Because we are a garden restaurant, we have some outdoor tables set up under the trees. It’s a good spot for travelers to stretch their legs after being in a car for hours. The kitchen is almost always running because people pull in at all times of the day and night. We serve the kind of food that fills you up so you can finish your journey. It isn't a quiet place, since the sound of trucks and cars from the highway is constant, but the garden area provides a little bit of a break from the road. We have a small group of workers who live nearby and help us keep the place going. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to switch to the generator, which is just part of living out here. We don't have a very big menu, but we make sure whatever we do have is ready to go for hungry drivers. The petrol pump next door brings in a lot of people who are just looking for a quick meal while they fuel up their tanks. It’s a family-run operation, and we’ve been at this highway location for several years now. We just keep things moving and the food hot for whoever stops.
