Gala Bagh Restaurant

You can find Gala Bagh Restaurant on Rani Road in Udaipur. We are right opposite the church and not too far from Sanjay Park. Udaipur HO is a busy area but being near the park gives us a little bit of a break from the noise. We’ve been running this place for a while now. It’s just a regular restaurant where people from the neighborhood come to hang out. We don't have any big mission statements or corporate goals. We just want to make sure the tables are wiped down and people get what they ordered. The 313001 area is full of tourists usually but we get plenty of locals too. The staff knows most of the people who walk in by name. It’s a bit informal and we might forget a spoon now and then but we fix it pretty quick. We aren't trying to be fancy. It’s just a practical spot for a meal. Sometimes it’s quiet and sometimes it’s a mess of people talking at once. We just take it as it comes. Being on Rani Road is good for us because there’s always someone walking by. We don’t do a lot of advertising. People just see the sign and come in. It’s a simple way to run a business and it keeps us busy enough to stay out of trouble most days of the week.
