Daya Restaurant & Dining Hall

Daya Restaurant & Dining Hall is located in Shop No. 6 at the UIT Shopping Centre in Sector 4 of Hiran Magri. This part of Udaipur is quite different from the touristy lakeside areas. We are right on the main road that leads to Narayan Seva Sansthan, and we are actually quite close to them. Because of that, we get a lot of people who are visiting the sansthan for treatment or to help out. Our dining hall is designed to handle those bigger groups of families. It’s a very straightforward setup with long tables and basic seating. We don't have air conditioning, just some big ceiling fans that hum all day long. The walls are painted a simple color and we don’t have any decorations to speak of. It’s really just about the food. We serve the kind of meals that satisfy your hunger after a long day of walking or traveling. The kitchen staff starts early in the morning, and you can hear the sound of the pressure cooker whistling from the back. It’s a busy environment and the floors get a lot of foot traffic. We just try to keep things organized so everyone gets their food on time. It's not a fancy place for a date, but it’s where local people and visitors come when they want a proper meal without paying for a view or expensive napkins. We just do our bit every day.
