Amer Electric Decorators

Amer Electric Decorators is right on the main road at Ziniret Ka Chowk. If you pass by, you’ll probably see us untangling long strings of lights or testing out colorful bulbs. It’s a bit of a chaotic spot because the traffic at the chowk never seems to stop. We’ve got wires running all over the place inside the shop. It’s been our home for a while now. We don’t do anything too complicated, mostly just providing the lighting and electrical decorations for festivals and local events. When the season is busy, the shop is a mess of cardboard boxes and reels of wire. We spend hours making sure the connections are safe because nobody wants a short circuit during a celebration. It’s a lot of manual work, climbing up ladders and hanging lights from high places. Our hands are usually a bit dirty from the metal and the dust from the road. We don't have a glossy brochure or a fancy website. People just know where Ziniret Ka Chowk is and they come to us when they need their place to look bright for a night. We like being part of the local scene here. It’s noisy and crowded, but it’s where we do our best work. We just take one job at a time and try to keep the bulbs glowing. It’s a simple life of electricity and wires, and that’s fine by us.
