Vepede

Vepede is right across from Tumkur University on BH Road. It’s at the SS Circle, so it’s a spot everyone knows. We’ve been here for a bit. The traffic out front is always moving. Students and teachers walk past all day. We keep things pretty simple in the shop. It’s not a big fancy operation. We just handle what needs to be done. BH Road is the main way through, so we see a lot of people. Being near the university keeps things lively. We don't use big words to describe what we do. It’s just Vepede. The name is on the front. Inside, it’s just a normal workspace. We have our tools and our desks. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. You just walk in and talk to whoever is free. Sometimes we are busy with a project and the place looks a mess. That is just how work happens. We like being in Tumkur. It feels like home to us. The building isn't brand new but it stays dry. We focus on the daily tasks. It’s a quiet kind of work most of the time. We aren't trying to change the world. We just want to get the job done right for whoever comes through the door at SS Circle. The chai shop nearby is where we usually take our breaks. It is a basic life and that suits us just fine.
