Maruthi Vidya Kendra

Maruthi Vidya Kendra has been here in Someswarapuram for quite a while now. If you walk down the lanes in this part of Tumkur, you’ll see our gates and the kids arriving every morning with their heavy bags. It’s just a normal school day most of the time. The building isn't brand new or anything, but it does the job for the neighborhood. We have classrooms that get quite a bit of sun in the afternoons. Sometimes the fans make a bit of noise, but the students don't seem to mind much when they are busy with their work. There’s a playground out back where they spend their breaks. It gets dusty during the summer months, but that's just how things are in Tumkur. We try to keep things organized, though sometimes the office gets a bit crowded with parents coming in to ask about fees or books. Most of the teachers live nearby, so they know the families around here pretty well. It feels like a small community inside these walls. We have the usual morning assembly and then everyone heads to their rooms. It’s a lot of routine, honestly. The bell rings, lessons happen, and then everyone goes home. We don't have fancy gadgets everywhere, just blackboards and desks. It’s a place where kids learn their basics and grow up. People in Someswarapuram know where to find us if they need to talk about their children's progress. We just keep doing what we do every day.
