Maruthi International School

Our school is at No.9, 1st Main, on Chinmaya Mission Road. It’s in the Siddaganga Extension part of Tumkur. It’s a fairly quiet neighborhood, which is good for a school. We’ve been here for a few years now. The building is a multi-story structure with classrooms and a bit of space for the kids to gather. Every morning starts with the same routine: the gates open, the staff arrives, and the noise level starts to climb. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles. It’s a straightforward setup. We spend a lot of our time in the office handling the day-to-day stuff, like attendance and talking to parents who stop by. The classrooms have the usual desks and boards. Sometimes we have to deal with a leaky roof during the heavy rains or a fan that stops working in the middle of a hot afternoon. It’s just part of managing a building. The teachers are always carrying books around, and the kids are always losing their pencils. We try to keep things organized, but with so many people in one place, it’s always a bit of a struggle. Tumkur is a nice town, and being in SG Extension makes it easy for most families to reach us. We’re just a local school trying to keep things running smoothly for everyone involved, every day of the week except Sundays.
