Arvind International Residential School

Arvind International Residential School is located at Jnana Kashi, right on Maddur Road. We are near the Girigowdanapalya Gate in Kunigal, which is part of the Tumkur district. Since we are a residential school, the place never really sleeps. There are always students around, whether they are in the dorms, the dining hall, or out on the grounds. It’s a big responsibility having kids live on-site, so we spend a lot of our time just checking on things and making sure everyone is where they should be. The campus is tucked away from the main noise of the town, which is nice, but it means we have to be self-sufficient with most things. We have our own routine here that starts early with breakfast and ends late after the evening study sessions. It isn't a flashy place with high-end marketing; it’s more of a functional space where kids from different areas come to stay and learn. The staff often lives nearby or on the grounds too, so it feels a bit like a big, slightly disorganized family at times. We deal with broken lightbulbs, laundry schedules, and lost textbooks every single day. Tumkur can get quite dry, so we try to keep some greenery around the buildings when we can. It’s just a normal part of the landscape here in Kunigal for us now, and we keep things moving.
