Don Bosco School

You will find us located in DM Palya, which is over in the Tumkur area. Our school has become a very familiar sight for the people who live and work in this particular part of the town. We have been here for a good number of years, and the building has had to grow a little bit here and there as we needed more space for all the children. It is not a flashy or modern-looking place, just a collection of regular classrooms and a small office where we keep all the school records and files. We have a playground that tends to get quite dusty during the dry summer months, but the children never seem to care about that when they are busy playing during their lunch break. Our staff is mostly made up of local people, many of whom live nearby and just ride their scooters or walk to work each day. We follow the standard curriculum and try our best to make sure the children are staying on track with their daily studies. We do not have any big corporate backing or outside funding to rely on. It is just us doing the normal work of running a school day in and day out. Sometimes we hold small events like a sports day or a simple cultural program, which the parents usually enjoy coming to see. We just want to provide a solid, reliable place for kids to spend their time and learn.
