If you head out towards Ajmer Road in Deoli, you’ll find us in the Riico Industrial Area. It’s a dry, dusty part of the world, but it’s perfect for what we do. We deal with stone in all its forms. There is a lot of activity on the road, so there is always a layer of grit on the windows. We spend our days cutting and sorting. The machines are old but they still do the job just fine. We don't spend much money on fixing up the office because we are usually out back anyway. It gets really hot in the middle of the day, so we try to do the heaviest lifting early on. People stop by on their way through Deoli to see what we have in stock. We show them around the piles and let them pick what they like. There’s no pressure or anything like that. We just tell them what it is and what it costs. Most of our customers have been coming to us for years, or their fathers did. It’s that kind of place. We’ve got stacks of stone that have been sitting there for a while next to stuff that just arrived yesterday. It’s all part of the mix. We just keep working, keeping the machines running and the trucks moving out to the highway. It’s honest work and it fills the day until the sun goes down.
