Sag Stones

Here in Bijolia, stone is pretty much everything. We’ve been running Sag Stones out of this area for a long time. It’s a small town vibe where everyone knows what everyone else is doing. We don’t have a complex setup or a fancy office building. Most of our work happens right out in the open or under a simple tin roof. I spend my days looking at the raw stone and figuring out how to get the best pieces out. It’s honest work that leaves you tired at the end of the day. There’s a lot of history with stone in Bijolia, and we’re just a small part of that. I don’t use any big words to talk about what we do. We just take the stone from the ground and get it ready for whoever needs it. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to work, especially when it’s too hot or raining, but we manage. People come by, we talk for a bit, they look at the stone, and we see if we can make a deal. It’s how business has been done here for generations. I’m just keeping that going. It’s a simple life, but it suits me just fine. We just focus on the stone and the work. Sometimes things get delayed because of logistics, but people around here understand that’s just part of dealing with heavy natural products. I don't see us moving anywhere else soon. It's home.
