Dhurv Stone

Dhurv Stone is located right in the Main Market of Tehsil Deoli. We are very easy to find because we sit near National Highway No. 12, so there are always big trucks and travelers passing by our front door. The sound of the highway is something you just get used to after a while. Our yard is filled with different types of stone, and you’ll usually find us outside moving things around or helping a customer pick out the right slabs for their project. It’s a dusty environment, and we wear work boots every day because the ground is never really even. The office is just a small shack-like structure where we keep the ledger and a phone that rings more often than you’d think. We don't have a sales pitch or any brochures to hand out. We just show you the stone, tell you the price, and figure out the delivery details. It’s very direct and practical. Being in the main market means we see a lot of familiar faces from around Deoli, and we often stop what we're doing to have a quick word with a neighbor. The business is pretty much just us and a few helpers when things get really heavy. It’s hard work, especially when the sun is out, but it’s a good way to spend the day.
