Saraswati Stone

Being on the link road near the CISF area, the dust from the yard is just part of our everyday life. We have been here in the Deoli district for a long time now. Dealing with stone is heavy work, but it is basically all we know how to do. Most of our days are spent moving slabs around and talking to the local folks who come by looking for something for a house project or maybe a small repair. The yard usually stays busy with trucks coming and going at all hours. It gets pretty noisy with the cutting and the loading, especially when the summer weather gets really hot. We just keep our heads down and handle the inventory as it comes in. Sometimes the road gets backed up with all the security traffic from the nearby station, but we have gotten used to that over the years. People seem to find us easily enough on this particular stretch of the road. We are not doing anything fancy or high-end here, just the basic stone handling and making sure the orders get where they need to go on time. If you drive down C. I. S. F. Link Road, you will see our stacks of stone. It is not some polished showroom or a corporate office, just a real workplace where we get through the day one slab at a time. There is a lot of grit in the air but we do not really mind it much.
