Sai Paper Products

Our place is No. 5, Rajarajan Nagar Extn., over in Mettukuppam Vanagaram. It’s a bit of a tucked-away spot, which is actually nice because we have a bit of space to handle the paper rolls and the finished products. We make various paper items here. It might be bags one day or specialized sheets the next. The machines take up most of the room, and there is usually the smell of paper and glue in the air. We started this small because we saw how much plastic was being used and thought paper was a better way to go. It’s just a few of us here, mostly locals from the Vanagaram area. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. Most of our work comes from word of mouth or people seeing our trucks out on the road. The Rajarajan Nagar extension is growing, so there’s always some construction or something going on nearby. It’s a humble setup, but it keeps us busy from morning till evening. We have to be careful with the storage because moisture can ruin everything, so we spend a lot of time checking the warehouse. It’s not a glamorous job, but there’s a certain satisfaction in seeing a stack of plain paper turn into something useful. We just try to keep our heads down and get the orders out to the customers on time. It takes a lot of effort to keep the machines running smooth, but we manage it every day.
