Devi Kirubhas Agro Foods

Our place, Devi Kirubhas Agro Foods, is over at SS-2 in the Korattur Sidco Industrial Estate. It’s a big industrial area, so there’s always the sound of machinery and trucks in the background. We work with food products, which means we have to be quite careful about how things are handled and stored. The estate is a bit dusty, but we keep our unit as clean as we can. It’s mostly manual work, packing and sorting through things to make sure everything is okay. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy website. We just focus on the food and making sure it gets out to the shops on time. Some days are longer than others, especially when we have a big batch to process. We have a small crew, and everyone knows what they need to do. It’s not a fancy office job. We wear aprons and spend a lot of time on our feet. The Korattur area is good for us because it’s easy for the transport trucks to get in and out. We aren't trying to change the world; we just want to provide good food products that people can use. It’s hard work, and the heat in the summer can be tough in these industrial sheds, but we get through it. We’ve been part of this industrial community for a while and like the honest work we do here.
