You can find us at 4/554 on Paari Road in Mogappair East. We work with scientific glass, which means we spend a lot of time around very hot flames and delicate tubes. The workshop can get really warm during the summer months, so we usually have a couple of big exhaust fans running to keep the air moving. It’s a bit of a specialized job, and we’ve been doing it here for quite a while now. The shelves are packed with beakers, flasks, and all sorts of glass things that look like they belong in a school lab. We have to be very careful with how we pack things because one wrong move and everything breaks. There’s always a pile of bubble wrap and cardboard boxes near the front door. We aren't a huge corporation; it’s just a small group of us who know how to handle the glass without getting burned too often. Most of our clients are local schools or small labs that need specific pieces made or repaired. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person. We just answer the phone and see what people need. Paari Road is usually quiet in the mornings, which is when we get most of the difficult work done before the heat and the noise of the day really kick in. It’s steady work, and we just try to keep the breakage to a minimum and keep the torch flame steady.
