This company is located in Malluthu Village, which is part of the Harur area in Dharmapuri. Our address is No.146. We are a bit different because we focus on food processing and we are a women’s federation. Most of the women here have been working in the fields or in their kitchens for years. We decided to put that experience to use in a more organized way. We process the food that comes from the local farms. It’s a busy place with a lot of noise and activity. We aren't polished professionals. We are just local women trying to add some value to what we grow. Sometimes we are drying fruits or grinding grains. It depends on what is in season. The work is steady but it can be tiring. We don't have a marketing department. We just rely on the quality of what we make. Dharmapuri can be a dry place, so we have to be smart about what we produce. Our building is simple and we keep it clean for the food work. People from the village come by to help or to bring their crops. It’s a real community effort. We don't use fancy jargon or try to sound like we are from a big city. We just do the work, keep the books, and try to make sure everyone involved gets their share. It’s a practical way to support our families. Being in Malluthu Village means we are close to the source. Every day brings a new set of chores.
