Sathyam Agro Foods

Sathyam Agro Foods is out at No. 338 Kangayam Road in Sennimalaipalayam, which is part of Nallur Village. It’s a rural setting, so it feels very connected to the farms around us. We deal with food products, mostly grains and things like that. The building is large and has that distinct smell of dried crops. We have machines for cleaning and sorting the food before it goes out. It can get quite dusty inside when the blowers are going. We all wear old clothes because there’s no point in trying to stay clean here. The village is quiet, but our yard can get busy with tractors coming in from the fields. We don't have a corporate office or a board of directors. It’s just a few of us making sure the food is handled right. We eat our lunch together in the shade when it gets too hot. People in Nallur know us well. We’ve been operating on Kangayam Road for quite some time now. We don't spend money on advertising or fancy packaging. We just focus on the quality of the grain. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting bags and moving pallets, but it keeps us busy. We like the rhythm of the seasons and how the work changes from harvest to planting. It’s just a regular village business doing what we know best for the people who need it.
