Oval Poultry Farm Private Limited

Our farm is situated out in Karapalayam, which is a quiet part of the Kattoor area near Palladam. We have our setup at D.No.188, and we use the plots at Sf.No.698/1 and Sf.No.715/1A. It is quite a lot of space for the birds. If you come by, you will hear the chickens long before you see the gate. It is a poultry farm, so it is noisy and smells like a farm should. We aren't doing anything fancy here. It is just a regular private company run by local folks from the Tirupur and Coimbatore area. We wake up long before the sun to start the feeding and cleaning. The Coimbatore heat can be tough on the birds, so we have to stay on top of things. We have a small room we use for an office, but most of our time is spent in the sheds. There are always trucks coming in with feed or leaving with eggs and birds. It gets a bit messy when the monsoon rains hit the dirt tracks around here. We have been in Karapalayam for a good while now. Everyone in the village knows us as the Oval Poultry Farm. We don't have shiny brochures or a big sales team. It’s just us and the workers making sure the birds are healthy. It is hard work and the days are long, but we are used to it by now.
