Our office is on Kalathu Street in a place called Milakaranai. It’s in the Podumbu area of Madurai North. If you are from around here, you know it’s a quiet spot with a lot of history. We are a farmer producer company, which basically means a bunch of us got together to help each other out. Farming alone is getting harder every year. By joining up, we can share equipment and knowledge. Our address is No.6-1-17. It’s a modest building. We don't have air conditioning or fancy furniture. Just some chairs and a table where we look over the accounts. Most of us grew up in Madurai and we know the land well. The soil here is good if you treat it right. We spend our time talking to the local farmers about what they are planting this season. Sometimes we help with the logistics of moving the crops. It's not always smooth. There are delays and sometimes things don't go as planned. But that’s just how it is. We don't try to sugarcoat the facts. It’s tough work and we are just trying to make a living like everyone else. People stop by the office to share a tea and talk about the village news. It’s a community-based thing. We aren't looking to become a giant corporation. We just want to stay steady and help the local farmers get a fair deal. Podumbu is our home. We don't plan on going anywhere else. This company is our way of making sure the local scene stays alive.
