Sri Bharani Catering Service

We are located at No 120, right on Swami Sannathi in Sankarankoil. Being so close to the temple means we are always surrounded by the sounds of bells and people passing by on their way to pray. Sri Bharani Catering Service is a small operation, and we like it that way because it allows us to keep an eye on everything ourselves. The kitchen is almost always on the go, with steam rising from the big rice cookers and the sound of ladles hitting the sides of metal pots. We don't have any formal training in management; we just learned by doing it every day for years. Our supplies come from the local market, and we pick them out ourselves to make sure they are okay. The space is a bit cramped, especially when we have a big order to get out, and things can get a bit hectic. We don't use any fancy equipment, just the same kinds of tools that have been used in this region for generations. Sankarankoil is a tight-knit place, so we know most of the people we are cooking for. We don't really do any promotion; our work just speaks for itself when people eat the food at a wedding or a festival. It is a simple life of cooking and cleaning and making sure the orders are ready when the customers come to pick them up. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
