A To Z Caterers Kumara Vilas is located at No 142 on North Car Street, which is a very traditional part of Tirunelveli Town. If you know the area, you know it is always busy with people heading toward the temple or the market. Our setup is pretty simple; we have a large workspace where we prepare food for all sorts of local gatherings. The morning starts before the sun is even up, with the delivery of fresh vegetables and heavy bags of spices. We use large firewood stoves for some of our cooking, so there is often a bit of smoke and a lot of heat in the back. The people who work here are mostly locals who have been cooking these recipes for years. We don't follow any corporate manuals or have a complicated hierarchy. We just know who needs to chop, who needs to stir, and who needs to pack the food into the containers. North Car Street is a narrow place, so loading our vans can be a bit of a challenge with all the foot traffic passing by. We don't spend money on fancy flyers or big signs. People usually just walk in or call us because they saw us working at a friend's house. It is a noisy, busy, and sometimes messy business, but it is how we have always operated here in the town. We'll be on North Car Street for as long as people need us to cook.
